My husband was on the CICU unit. And while there he and I were treated with the upmost respect and genuine concern. It would be hard too single one nurse out. Carrie and Amanda that work in labor and delivery are amazing. Carrie was by far my favorite nurse she took care of my daughter when I had her the 19th of December clear up til we got discharged. She would come in and give me a break so I could sleep or just to hang out with my daughter we were the only patients there at the time. Lutheran is a very good place if you want one on one with the nurses with your babies and yourself. They came to check on me all the time they were always on time for my meds and stuff I had to take. I would go back if I was to have another baby but I am getting fixed I have 2 babies and that's enough for me.

Nobody Wants to go to the ER.... but we needed to and they were Amazing!!! Never have I experienced such professionalism from a staff that truely cared and got us in and out quickly!!!

The nurses and techs on 2N were awesome. No one wishes to be hospitalized but this group of outstanding professionals made it all tolerable. They were caring and committed to making sure the patient was well cared for and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my mother was handled with dignity.

Came here to visit in a professional capacity - everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Cafeteria food was alright. Hard to say what the experience would be like from a patient perspective though.

Since 2007, This Hospital, that includes Doctors, Nurses, Techs, Food Service, Maintenance etc... Truly has saved my husbands life literally 4times, recently last week he had a HeartAttack, and the Doctors and Nurses on ICU and 3rd Floor, very Pleasent, and on top of it, Again Saved his life. Thank You🤗🤗🤗🤗

The nurses and rest of the staff on 3rd floor East wing were the best in care, courteous, and extremely helpful assistance. Highly recommend if you're in need of hospital assistance.

One of the best hospitals in des Moines I been to other hospitals not like this one they take me in right away everybody that works here at so nice like last year I came in for stitches they patch me up real quick yesterday I can in for a ear infection they check me gave me some pills for the pain and infection best hospital

It's not just one experience,i have had my last two children there,also I got my mental health issues delt with .. It's always clean,accuate,nice,and caring

They won't keep you here for very long. The food is better than most hospitals. Movie selection sucks though.

I will be using Iowa Lutheran Hospital from now on. I went to the ER in July 2016 with stomach pain, chest pains. The nurses were on top of everything. I was diagnosed with A-Fib and was admitted. They were all nice and compassionate to me. I was there for 6 days and was treated very well. The food was good. Everyone that worked there was great. The gal that cleaned my room was excellent, she was friendly and did a great job cleaning.

Everyone is SO AWESOME!!
